Conflicts in The Fault in Our Stars
The conflicts that Hazel faces in The Fault in Our Stars changes in chapters three and four. Hazel realizes that she has a crush on augustus and while she is at his house watching movies she wants him to hold her hand, but he doesn't. The next day she goes to the mall with her friend Kaitlyn and she doesn't tell her about Augustus because she doesn't know what she will say. Hazel and Augustus have a thing now and Augustus tells her that he cant wait to see her again. I have a feeling that something big is going to happen because the last time he saw Hazel was when she wanted him to kiss her but he didn't.

Start of The Fault in Our Stars
So far in The Fault In Our Stars a 16 year old girl named Hazel is introduced and she has Thyroid which is a disease in her lungs. Hazel meets a 17 year old boy named Augustus Waters at a support group and they become friends. Hazel doesn't like going to her support group but her mom makes her. After she meets Augustus, he drives her to his house and they hang out for a while. Hazel seeing Augustus kind of made her happy for once so I predict that even though Hazel doesn't like going to support group she will want to from now on because she will get to see Augustus. Is Hazel going to want to see Augustus more outside of Support group now that they have talked to each other a bit more? Will she talk to her parents about Augustus?

Summer Reading
In the book The List it is has real life issues about high attraction and who can be the best. It happens every year where a list is put up and it shows that high school can be a very dramatic place with fights and tears. In the book, many of the girls got bullied and didn't do much about it.
The author explained these issues throughout the book by making each of the the characters have different social lives and different problems though high school. All of the characters on the list are either announced the prettiest in the grade or the ugliest. Even though being the prettiest would be great, there is bad things that happen too. People think you're only doing for attention when really you're not.
